DESIGN

YACHT LED NAME IDENTIFIES YOURSELF

We can design custom fonts or logos starting from sketches or standard fonts. We modify and customize pursuing the idea and taste of the owner and designer. You can choose a standard font from our database with over 1000000 different types.

PROJECT

ENGINEERING YOUR IDEA

After a first focus on the idea, we start giving shape to your desires. Now the process of designing mechanical and lighting parts begins, the most important step to guarantee the best result in terms of lighting effect and to prevent installation problems.

PRODUCTION

DETAILS MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Yacht LED Names are unique products customized for each boat. The care of every detail is very important as the Yacht Name is one of the first things you see before getting on board.

COMPONENTS

WORKING THE BEST RAW MATERIALS

To manufacture Yacht LED Names we use:
• Stainless steel AISI 316L
• Special Acrylic polycarbonate for marine applications/ environments
• Special resin to seal the LEDs and ensure an IP68 protection degree
• Different types of color temperature from cool to warm white
• RGB or RGB+W
• Special processes to polish and passivate steel in use

RGB+W COLLECTION

A wide range of RGB+W are to create
special effects; our products can be
managed with the most common
system or by our stand alone system.

EMOTIONS DESIGNED BY LIGHTS

SPOTLESS

The accurate materials and LEDs selection combined with a proper design, allow us to achieve the best light effect: homogeneous and “spotless”.

TECHNIQUES

Backlit yacht names are inherently bespoke products as each order is different and unique.
4c Innovation offers different manufacturing techniques depending on the shapes to be created, installation requirements and the selected material.

TECHNIQUE

STANDARD

The standard technique consists of diffusing light through methacrylate, which is going to be either 12 or 20 mm thick depending on aesthetic requirements. The steel that is generally used for standard names is 3 mm thick. The name is installed adherent to the hull.

TECHNIQUE

ON SPACERS

This technique allows the installation of the names on spacers machined from solid stainless steel. The spacers also facilitate the assembly in spots that are not easily accessible from the back. The light effect will be even more diffused as, unlike the standard method, the name is separated from the hull.

TECHNIQUE

BOXED STRUCTURE

We manufacture boxed components made of AISI 316L steel or aluminium, which are machined from solid with CNC or hand soldered. This technique considerably increases the value of the yacht name and lends a majestic effect to the vessel.

TECHNIQUE

RECESSED STEEL

This procedure allows to insert the steel into the methacrylate and to create a frame of light around the letter. This makes the line even sharper and easy to read in the dark.

TECHNIQUE

CURSIVE

Yacht names in cursive style have a significant technical difficulty in keeping the lines connected and perfectly illuminated from the first letter to the last. This is why a focused, extensive study is needed. The final result is definitely elegant and refined.

TECHNIQUE

LOGOS

Yacht names are often completed with illuminated logos in order to lend them an additional touch of personality. We create any type of logo. After receiving the desired symbol, our technical department will proceed with the engineering phase and the suggested product afterwards.

TECHNIQUE

DOUBLE FINISHING

This technique enriches the manufacturing of the name and allows to make two different finishes in order to create motion and a 3D effect. In the picture shown the effect is even more visible as the steel was machine carved to obtain lines with different thicknesses.

TECHNIQUE

PAINTED METHACRYLATE

This technique is especially useful to manufacture very light, durable names. The picture shows a yacht name that is made entirely from the same methacrylate machined from solid. The upper part was painted with a special paint for ships and rounded on the edges after the cutting.

TECHNIQUE

FIXED STANDING

This new technique allows to have your yacht name in a 3D version. The name remains in a vertical position thanks to specific supports machined from solid steel, and it can be seen entirely from both the inside of the ship and from the outside. The double steel layer encloses the methacrylate, and the result is sharp and pleasing to the eye.

TECHNIQUE

CARVED STEEL

This technique allows to create a light line that defines the name from the inside, thus making the character stand out more. The light line inside the material lends personality to the product and makes it unique.

TECHNIQUE

ON GLASS

Some yachts have got glass-walled pools on which the application of a yacht name requires special skills. Thanks to the collaboration with companies specialized in glass we are able to offer this innovative solution. The result is very effective: a luminous name “floating on the glass”, inside of which we manage to bring the electricity necessary for the backlighting without any cables showing.

TECHNIQUE

SPOILERS

A new arrival. These blades of light are true spoilers that mould exterior lines in a sharp and sporty way.

TECHNIQUE

BACKLIT STEP

We insert illuminated names and logos inside steps, treads and door sills by recalling the brand or the naming of the ship.

TECHNIQUE

SPECIAL MATERIALS

4C Innovation also manufactures yacht names with peculiar finishes that involve the use of ceramic and special materials and finishes.
